Reviews
Very well written, easy to follow. Exciting revelations thanks to exploratory digital photography techniques. I have always loved Leonardo's work and found his images haunting-and deep. I am a classically trained painter and spend a great deal of time looking at master paintings to learn from individual approaches to the material and compositional devices. To learn from Domoretsky of Leonardo's love of hiding -"camouflaging"- imagery in his earlier drawings and to be able to follow this magical method into a more than probable organized system of ideas/symbols to counter the oppressive power structures ruling in his day enriches the whole visual experience tenfold, and speaks volumes to the power of art.
