Reviews

You could have said that "Leonardo went to live with his father's family and his half brothers and sisters when he was a young child." You did not have to say on p.7 that his mother STRUGGLED and his father LEFT HIM, and on p.10 after he turned two she COULD NOT PROVIDE (like many single parent families) and thus basically gave him away. I am amazed that no one pointed out how frightening this is to a young child. Maybe I will be able to black out enough of the words to read this to my granddaughter, but surely this was publishing malpractice for a children's book.
